What do you think about the politics in Hollywood?

What does that meansmileyolitics in Hollywood.

For me it is not a good thing for one company to have that much power.

Why?

Look at the finished product of the justice league. now that movie came out before the merger I also believe Disney had director issues with a certain well i think it was more that one star wars movie. Now the question is.

Why should or if they should Rehiring James Gunn for the next installment of GotG. what do you think?

There are politics in just about every thing and this may not be, but the dictator is in he's the biggest and baddest on the block don't let Micky fool you. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. Potentially in Doubt, Disney Calling Actor's Bluff (UPDATED)Earlier this week Drax actor Dave Bautista claimed heā€™d ask to be removed from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 if Disney opted to not use ousted director James Gunnā€™s script. It appears Disney is attempting to call his bluff. While unfortunate, this shouldnā€™t come as any surprise. First, it would be awkward to give Gunn writer credits on a movie Disney deemed him unworthy to direct. Second, and perhaps most importantly, it would be a nightmare to mitigate with the various guilds and unions, a hassle Disney clearly doesnā€™t want to deal with.
Abandoning the script does lend credence to our story about production being delayed. Without a script in place, it would be next to impossible to hit the expected 2020 release date. Iā€™d expect Disney to take their time finding a new writer and director, and assume we wonā€™t see the Guardians on screen again, after Avengers 4, until at least 2022.
One the one caveat to this is the source, Christopher Marc, who while reliable, is not a trade publication. Until Disney releases a statement there is hope, but that flame is quickly going out. by Jon Rettinger | August 8, 2018

They should never have fired him in the first place - They were wimps bowing to the hysterics of the professional insulted. Almost everyone seems to be offended by something these days.

Yes, the 'jokes' he posted were in bad taste but they certainly were not enough to warrant severing ties - especially during a marathon of upcoming Marvel movies.

Where do we draw the line when it comes to what we post online? Does a 20-something year old have to worry about what he/she may have said during their teens? People change, opinions change and what is/isn't sociably acceptable changes every day!
